{"id":3,"date":"2025-09-12T12:06:21","date_gmt":"2025-09-12T10:06:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/v2.lobservatoire.lu\/?page_id=3"},"modified":"2026-03-05T11:00:01","modified_gmt":"2026-03-05T10:00:01","slug":"conditions-generales-de-vente","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/lobservatoire.lu\/en\/conditions-generales-de-vente\/","title":{"rendered":"Terms and Conditions of Sale"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-page\" data-elementor-id=\"3\" class=\"elementor elementor-3\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3f8afdfc e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"3f8afdfc\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7641f75 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7641f75\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Definitions<\/h3>\n<p>The following terms shall have the meanings set forth below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gift voucher<\/strong> : means a document containing the restaurant\u2019s offer, the amount, the name of the purchaser and the recipient, and the validity period, allowing the holder to benefit from a service at the L\u2019Observatoire bar.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reference code<\/strong> : a unique identifier associated with the gift voucher, to be provided when making a reservation at the restaurant.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Beneficiary<\/strong> (for the attention of) : the person who benefits from the gift voucher offer, as indicated on the voucher.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Customer<\/strong> : a person who purchases a gift voucher, an event offer, or a physical product, for their own use or for a third party (beneficiary).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bar<\/strong> : the establishment L\u2019Observatoire (Anama Copropri\u00e9t\u00e9 FR s\u00e0rl) \u2013 VAT No.: LU33548948, Trade Register: B262204, Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal, Luxembourg.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Event offer<\/strong> : a reservation of a specific offer for events such as Valentine\u2019s Day, National Day, etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Products<\/strong> : items available for purchase on our website and to be collected at the restaurant (e.g., bottles of olive oil).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Gift voucher<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ordering and validation process<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The order of a gift voucher is made directly online through our website.<\/li>\n<li>A summary will be sent by email after the order is confirmed, including the gift voucher in PDF format.<\/li>\n<li>The order will be confirmed after the purchaser\u2019s final acceptance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Use<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gift vouchers are valid for a period of one year from the date of purchase.<\/li>\n<li>The voucher must be printed to be presented at the time of booking or upon arrival at the restaurant.<\/li>\n<li>When making a reservation, the gift voucher\u2019s reference code must be provided.<\/li>\n<li>The value of the gift voucher must be used in a single transaction. No refund will be given if the consumption is less than the voucher\u2019s value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Right of withdrawal<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal.<\/li>\n<li>A full refund is possible if the gift voucher has not been used prior to cancellation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anama Copropri\u00e9t\u00e9 FR s\u00e0rl cannot be held liable in the event of loss, theft, or fraudulent use of a gift voucher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Physical products<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ordering and validation process<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Physical products purchased on our website must be collected directly at our establishment (L\u2019Observatoire, Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal).<\/li>\n<li>No shipping or home delivery is planned.<\/li>\n<li>Products will be available for pickup at the establishment within 48 hours after the order is confirmed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Right of withdrawal<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The 14-day right of withdrawal applies, provided that the products have not been collected.<\/li>\n<li>Products must be returned in their original, unused condition.<\/li>\n<li>Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Event offers<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Booking and confirmation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The booking of an event package is confirmed upon payment.<\/li>\n<li>When making a reservation, specify your request with the number of guests and the arrival time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cancellation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the event.<\/li>\n<li>To cancel or modify your reservation, please contact us at the following address <a href=\"mailto:boutique@lobservatoire.lu\">boutique@lobservatoire.lu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Cancellation caused by the service provider<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>In the event of a partial or total cancellation of the service (strikes, viruses, accidents, force majeure), the service provider will refund the client for the full amount of any prepayment made.<\/li>\n<li>No further compensation may be claimed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Price and payment terms<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The prices of gift vouchers, event packages, and physical products are listed in euros and include Luxembourg VAT.<\/li>\n<li>Payment is accepted exclusively by credit card through our website\u2019s secure payment system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Amendment of the terms and conditions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>These terms and conditions may be amended at any time.<\/li>\n<li>The new terms will apply as soon as they are published on the website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Personal data protection<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Personal information collected during the purchase will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy and Luxembourg data protection legislation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>D\u00e9finitions Les termes suivants auront la signification ci-apr\u00e8s : Bon cadeau : d\u00e9signe un document contenant l\u2019offre du restaurant, le montant, le nom de l\u2019acheteur, du destinataire et la p\u00e9riode de validit\u00e9, permettant de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019une prestation au sein du bar L&rsquo;Observatoire.
